How Mira approaches a character sheet — and what she throws away first.
Mira joined the team in January and quietly redefined what we mean by "concept art." Her first deliverable on any character is a page of silhouettes — twenty or so, no detail, just shape.
"If the silhouette doesn't tell you who they are, no amount of rendering will fix it later," she says. We've started applying the same logic to environments.
The first version of every silhouette page gets thrown away. Mira insists on this. The second pass is where the actual ideas live.
